Festivals galore

Sometimes, you just have to get away from it all, and there’s no greater place to do so than Snowdonia. While you’re here, you’ll probably be needing quality accommodation. You’ll be glad to hear that we run a first rate B and B with hot tub facilities, as well as many other treats.

There’s never a dull day in our local area because there are so many great events. Festival No 6 is the largest in North Wales and it’s returning this year, lasting from September 6th to the 9th. This is the seventh year of the intimate festival of culture, arts, and music in Portmeirion village.

An influential headliner

The first headline act has already been announced; post-punk band The The. This cult band consists of a roster that includes the era’s top name talent. Together, Jools Holland, Neneh Cherry, and Sinead O’Connor influenced an entire musical genre in the 1980s. Gareth Cooper, the festival’s founder said that everyone’s excited to have the band play.

A bit of the good life

Another festival that might interest you is The Good Life Experience. This weekend of fun and discovery with the great outdoors, food, and books is returning for the fifth time. Located on a farm, it features contemporary music, poetry, comedy, campfire cooking, and much more. This is a family friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids and make a holiday out of it. If you’re interested, this event is taking place from September 14th to the 16th at Hawarden Estate.

At The Old Farmhouse, you can choose one of six rooms to stay in, including Seren. This is one of the garden rooms, and it comes with a king sized bed, stunning views of Cardigan Bay, and a shower over the bath. Remember we are a Snowdonia B and B with hot tub, giving you the perfect facilities.
